Arthur Leonard "Art" McCombs, age 69 of Akron, Ohio, died on February 19, 2023.
He was born on December 6, 1953 in Akron, the son of the late Lyle and Opal (nee Craig) McCombs.
Art was a 1972 graduate of Kenmore High School and was a machinist for Manchester Tool and Kovach Castings. He loved to fish and listen to music.
The love of his life was the late Margaret "Maggie Mae", his wife who preceded him in death on October 23, 2011, they were united in marriage on November 7, 1998. "You, Me and Janis, reunited again!"
Survivors include his two sons, Joshua McCombs and Joseph McCombs; his grandchild, Marlei Olivia Bakeman. His siblings also survive, Linda (Chuck) Bendetta, Elaine (Carl) Moore and Duane, Leon (Shelly) and Christopher McCombs; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that mourn his loss.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44305, where Rev. Ric Scardino will celebrate Art's life.
Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
