Audrey Maxine Zurcher, age 86, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, December 3, 2021, following a brief Illness. She was born in Seville, Ohio on April 9, 1935, to the late Henry and Goldie Moser.
In addition to her parents, Audrey was preceded in death by her daughter, Debbie; son, Doug; ex-husband and friend, Russell; and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her loving children, Cindy (Wayne) Heisler, Tracy Dardenne, Kelly (Lee) Winnett, and Jeff Zurcher, as well as, 12 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Frank (Betty) Moser and her sister, Esther Rohrbaugh.
After raising six children, Audrey began a career at Fluid Power Inc in Hudson, Ohio, retiring after nearly 30 years. She specialized in making oxygen equipment for planes used all over the world.
Audrey had a beautiful smile and a fantastic sense of humor which we grew to really appreciate over the past several months spent caring for her in our homes. She enjoyed sitting on the patio on a sunny day watching golfers on the 17th green. While she never played the game herself, she enjoyed critiquing the skills of others! She will be greatly missed.
The family would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to Crossroads Hospice and Palliative Care for helping us to keep Audrey at home and comfortable during her final days.
Per Audrey's final wishes, there will be no services at this time. A private memorial of remembrance will be held on a future date. Her final resting place will be at Woods Cemetery, Uniontown, Ohio.
All arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron, Ohio.
