Barbara May Anderson, 63, of Akron, passed away March 11, 2005 at Akron City Hospital. She was born January 14, 1942 in Akron, Ohio. Barbara loved to crochet and she enjoyed going to yard sales. She is preceded in death by her father, Don Hackathorn, son, Billy McColley and sister, Delores Dumauier. Barbara is survived by her daughter, Sylvia Woodford of Green; sons, Denver (Kimberle) McColley of Akron and Donald McColley of Green; mother, Eleanor (Vanhook) Hackathorn; grandchildren, Robert McElwain, Courtney McColley and Sarah Woodford; great grandson, Seth King ;sisters, Joan (Charles) and Donna (Robert); brother, John Hackathorn; 5 nieces, 2 nephew and 7 great-nieces. A memorial service will be held Saturday March 19 at the Harmony Baptist Church, 1127 Southeast Ave, Tallmadge at 2 PM.
