Barb Lauro, 55, went home to be with the Lord July 30th, after a lengthy illness. Born in Dover, Ohio, she lived all of her life in the Akron area. She had a heart of gold and will be greatly missed by her family and furry friends. We know that she is in a better place and not suffering anymore. She was preceded in death by parents, Charles and Virginia Lauro. She is survived by daughters, Staci (Mike) Martin, Angela (Dustin) Gurchie, and Jessica (Greg) Gurchie; brothers, Bill (Julia) Lauro and David (Jean) Lauro; stepdad, Charlie Spitnas; grandpups, Shadow, Niki, Bella, and Oliver; boyfriend, Leroy Wise; also a host of other relatives and friends. Per her request, cremation has taken place. In lieu of a Memorial Service, there will be a "Celebration of Life" at the Akron Airport VFW Post 8975, 1649 Krumroy Rd, from 6-8 p.m. TONIGHT.
