Barbara E. Boyle

Barbara E. Boyle, 90, went to be with God and her husband on Monday, December 13, 2021 surrounded by family. Barbara was born in Tyrone, Pennsylvania and was an Army veteran, an amazing woman, a devoted daughter, a loving mother and grandmother and reigned as GG. She was a member of Mogadore Baptist Church and enjoyed being an AWANA leader for many years. She was an avid fan of the Akron Rubber Ducks, the Cleveland Indians and the Cleveland Browns and attended games in full gear whenever she was able.

We know that she will be joyful in being united with those that have gone before her. Beloved husband William Boyle, parents Jonah and Margaret, brother Dale, nieces Terri Michelle, Debbie and Claudia and beloved sister-in-law Jean.

She leaves behind her brother Terry, her son Dave Sparks, daughter Angela (Tom), Grandchildren Tommy (Terry), Amber and Cody (Kelsey) and great grandchildren Bayleigh, Alannah, Garrett, Mallory, Henry, Erin, Callan, Sarah and Barrett, her niece Jannie (Mike) and nephews Jeff (Ilah), Mark (Ruth) and Christopher (Melanie).

A farewell service will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home at 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305. Friends and family are welcome beginning at 12:00 pm. A brief service will begin at 1:00 and will be followed by procession to Greenlawn Memorial Park where military honors will take place in the Ivy Chapel.
Donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Shriner's Hospital for Children.
