Barbara E. Barnes-Morgan

Barbara E. Barnes-Morgan, 79, of Tallmadge, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 11, 2014. She was born on March 10, 1934 in Akron, Ohio to the late Harold and Fern Johnson. Barbara was a devout Christian woman, wife and mother.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Jerry D. Barnes, Sr. and brother Raymond Johnson. She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years Charlie Morgan, children; Jerry (Terri) Barnes, Jr., David Barnes, Terrie (Jerry) Morgan, Greg (Veronica) Morgan and Michael (Ericha) Morgan, brothers Ronald (Bernie) and Donald (Diane) Johnson, sisters Marilyn (Jim) Ball and Shirley (Gary) Billips, 5 grandchildren; Jessica (Kenny), Kelly (Phil), Allyson, Michael, and Amber, 8 great grandchildren; Kenny, Jaden, Micah, Kale, Owen, Heidi, Louis, and Victor, many other relatives.

Friends and family may call 3:30 - 6:00 pm Friday, February 14, 2014 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm following visitation at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made Tallmadge Fire & EMS or Crossroads Hospice.
