Barbara Irene Enter

Barbara Irene Enter, 74 of Akron Ohio went home to our Lord on Sunday April 23, 2017. She is survived by a sister Shirley Kuehnert of Akron, a sister Marion Thoma of Chicago, Ill. and a brother Bob Roland of Akron. She was a wonderful mother of three children, Robert Baker of Randolph, Ohio, Rick Baker of Hudson, N.C. and a daughter Mary Lisa Mitcham of Summerville, SC., five grandchildren: Dan and Noah Baker, Brooke Mitcham, and Samantha and Michael Baker of Lenoir, NC. She has one great-granddaughter Eleanor. She worked as a homemaker, bought and sold antiques, and as a senior caregiver. She had a great sense of humor and wanted everyone to know that thru it all she never lost her love of laughter. After a tough battle with cancer she is safe in the hands of our Lord. Visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron on Friday, May 5, 2017 from 11:00-100 P.M. with the service to begin at 1:00 P.M. She will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
