Barbara M. Hunter, Sr.
Barbara M. Hunter, Sr., 76, of Akron, passed away October 31, 2004 at Akron City Hospital. She was born March 16, 1928 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Herbert & Florence (McDermott) Eggert and lived in Akron most of her life. Barbara loved to play BINGO, cards and she bowled in many leagues. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James R. Hunter, Sr.; son, Donald Lindhe, Jr.; 1 sister and 2 brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara M. Hunter, Jr. of Akron; sons, Richard W. (Janet) Lindhe of Wadsworth, Patrick A.(Diane) Lindhe of Akron, Thomas P. (Nora) Lindhe of Akron, William D. (Robin) Lindhe of Brunswick and James R. (Rose) Hunter, Jr. of Akron; daughter-in-law, Janet Lindhe of Newport OH; 22 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 - 8 p.m. at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. at St. Matthew Church. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Park. The family wishes to thank the staff at Akron City Hospital for their never ending care.
