Barbara Infante

Barbara Infante, 69, passed away surrounded by family on September 06, 2017 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was born August 13, 1948 in Cuyahoga Falls, OH to late parents Clifford and Jeanette Persing. Barb was a very caring, sweet and loving woman. Her family, especially her grandchildren, meant the world to her. She was a very strong-willed and independent woman who could give as well as take a joke.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 45 years, Art; siblings, Clifford, Gerald and Shirley. Barb is survived by her children, Tammy (Skip) Micco and Tim (Angelina) Infante; grandchildren, Tyler and Madison Micco, Tim, Jordan and Alexis Infante; sister, Diane Sprouse; and her beloved dog, Precious.

Visitation will be held from 4:00pm - 7:00pm on Friday, September 8, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 11:00am with visitation held one hour prior. Interment at Northlawn Memorial Garden to immediately follow.
