Barbara J. Dimoff

Barbara J. Dimoff, 75, passed away peacefully October 12, 2008. She was born Barbara J. Woy on August 31, 1933 to Earl and Thelma and had resided in Akron all her life. After working 40 plus years for Seal Realty (Mack Seal), she retired and fulfilled her dream of moving to Florida. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband of 45 years, Boris Dimoff. Barbara is survived by her son, Michael (Lynn); daughters, Yvonne and Rori (Vince); sister, Velma (John); brother, Benny; grandchildren, Dan (Mary Clare), Jennie (Les), Tonya, Megan, Nathan, Casie, Abby, Austin and Skylar, step-grandchildren, Eddie (Reana) and Jay, all of whom were the pride of her life; she was also blessed with 6 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins, especially Patty who loved her dearly. Services will be conducted Saturday, October 18 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron with her son, Pastor Michael Dimoff officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m., Saturday until the service begins. Interment will follow at Greensburg Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Asera Care Hospice, 4081 Embassy Parkway, Akron OH 44333.
