Barbara Jean Severns

Barbara Jean Severns, 69, of Akron, passed away on February 27, 2016 at Hickory Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born on November 9, 1946 to Raymond and Stella (Sroka) Robinson. Barbara was co-owner of Arlington Greenhouse, an avid gardener, bowler, and a very loving and caring person.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Severns; father, Raymond Robinson; mother, Stella Sroka; and brothers J.R. and Ronnie Robinson. She is survived by her sisters, Sally (Harry) LeVan, Katherine (Bill) Croft, Loretta Oliver; and many nieces, nephews and other friends.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday March 2, 2016, from 4-7pm, followed by a memorial service at 7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron.
