Barbara Muth

Barbara L. Muth, age 81 of Uniontown, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at 5:34 PM.

She was born on April 1, 1935 in Spencer, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Oscar and Lena Richards Boone.

Barbara was a grocery clerk for Acme Click for 30+ years retiring in 1995. She liked boating, camping, traveling, flower gardening, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her loving husband, Glenn, of 63 years, whom she married on June 7, 1953 at the Ellet Grace Brethren Church by Pastor Etling; her loving son and daughter-in-law, Randall R. and JoNell Muth; her grandchildren, Todd (fiance Veronica) Muth, Michelle (Neil) Rausch, and Kristin (Josh) Flaitz; her great-grandchildren, A'lexxus, Shaelin, Carter, and Paxton.

Other than her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her siblings, Doris Upton, Judy Jones, Rosemary Parsons, and Susie Ramey.

Funeral services will be held at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 12:00 PM, where family and friends may gather from 10:00 AM until service time. Dr. Kenneth B. Lowe will celebrate Barbara's life.

Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Park, Akron.
