Barbara E. Norton

Barbara E. Norton (Taylor), 92, of Mogadore, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2021. She was born on June 7, 1928 in Cuyahoga Falls. Barbara was a retired teacher of 32 years, and a member of First Methodist Church in Cuyahoga Falls. She was a loving wife, aunt, and friend to many.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Norton; sister, Cheryl Welch; and brother, James M. Taylor.

She is survived by three nephews and a niece.

A funeral service will take place on Monday May 17, 2021 at 12pm at Newcomer 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, with an hour of visitation prior. Interment to follow at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park. Please wear masks and observe social distancing.
