Barbara L. Pitman

Barbara L. Pitman, 78, passed away November 30, 2020 after a brief illness. Born in Philippi, West Virginia to Edward and Eva (Daugherty) Ketchem, she got married to Kent Pitman and moved to the Akron, Ohio area. Barbara was a member of the Ravenna Church of Christ for over 50 years. She greatly enjoyed the outdoors, watching football and reading as well as spending time with her family, especially her grandsons and their wives. A highlight of the last year of her life was attending both weddings of her grandsons.

In addition to her husband and parents, Barbara was also preceded in death by her brother, Bob Ketchem; sister, Beverly Dadisman. She will be sadly missed by children, Eddie Pitman, Tami (Jeff) Morgan; grandsons, Jared (Meghan) Morgan, Josh (Miranda) Morgan; brother, Bill Ketchem; sister in-law, Karen (Tom Jodon) Cooper; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Due to Covid 19 concerns, the family will have a memorial ceremony at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Barbara's name to the Ravenna Church of Christ.
