Barbara E. Smith

Barbara E. Smith, 88, passed away on May 25, 2023. She was born on March 14, 1935 the daughter of the late Vernon and Delma Stockdale. She was a woman of faith and attended the Methodist Church. Barbara enjoyed traveling with her husband and family to see the beautiful sights of the mountains and the great outdoors. In her younger years she enjoyed playing cards and gardening. She had many accomplishments but her greatest was her love for her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband of 53 years, James "Jim" D. Smith; 3 brothers; and 4 sisters.
Barbara is survived by her loving family, sons Jim (Anita) Smith, and John (Keili) Smith; daughter Julia (Roger) Smith; grandchildren James (Elizabeth), Lisa, Timothy, Michael (Jenny), Brooke, and Bree; great-grandchildren Miranda, Megan, James, Samantha, Emiley, Matthew, Zoe, Sammy (Jolle), Phoenix, Maverick, and Michael James Jr. ; one great-great grandson, EJ; brother Billy (Alice) Stockdale; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Inurnment will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
