Barbara Eileen Steinmetz

Barbara Eileen Steinmetz, 62, of Akron, passed away at home on March 31, 2024. She was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia on October 8, 1961 to the late Bert and Linnie Grose. She retired from ESP Silicone Extruded Products.
Barb loved listening to country and classic rock music and attending concerts. Her Christian faith guided through the challenges in her life and we are confident she is now in the presence of the Lord.
In addition to her parents, Barb was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Steinmetz; and sister, Diania Grose.
She will be dearly missed by her sons, Michael (India) Steinmetz and Nicholas Steinmetz; boyfriend, David Trumphour; sisters, Phyllis Berger, Kay Wood, Judy Long, Wilda Bebout, Charlotte Young, Mary Lampy, and Roberta Mulholland; brother, Fred Grose; grandchildren, Aiden, Mariah, Melody, Ariel, Mason, Allie, Lila, Brianna, Isabel, Zaden, and Zyianna; great-grandson, Emiliano; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. with visitation for one hour prior at Goodyear Heights Community Church, 464 Brittain Rd, Akron, Ohio 44305.
