Barbara Ann Sutter, age 85 of Akron passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. She was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia to the late Harry H. and Zelma M. {Skidmore} Whited.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her brother Wells V. Whited, and her husband George H. Sutter.
Barbara is survived by her children James (Melanie Wasko), Robert (Noreen Garrity), Michael (Connie) and Ronda Gardner; step-children Leslie (Bob) Horton and Cathy (Brad) Johnson; 21 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; sisters Nancy Brooks and Anita Wanless; sister-in-law Elizabeth Whited; many nieces and nephews.
Barbara loved to play bingo and make memories with her family. She adored her dog Cocoa.
Per Barbara's wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no formal services. A private celebration of her life will be held for her family. To leave a message for Barbara's family, please scroll below.
