Barry L. Fetterhoff, age 76, of Brimfield, passed away on May 13, 2022 after a courageous battle with COPD.
He was born on October 16, 1945 in Plumville, PA and grew up in Tallmadge. He was the son of Max and Viola Fetterhoff.
Besides his parents, Barry was preceded in death by his brothers, Joseph and Kenny. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 42 years, Darlene; son, Brian (Tiffany) Fetterhoff; daughters, Jennifer (Brian) Hudak and Leslee (partner, Chad) Fetterhoff. Papa adored his grandchildren, Cory Fetterhoff, and Darin and Jessica Hudak. He is also survived by brother, Ken Fetterhoff; sister, Susan Young and many nieces and nephews.
Barry was a man of many talents. He was talented at designing, engineering and fabricating. He was a self-employed metals machinist and owner of Hoffield Industries for 20 years. He also built a banjo, learned how to play it, and loved bluegrass music. His most ingenious plan and accomplishment was building a "Rat Rod" which took over 10 years. Many parts were collected and fabricated in order to complete this amazing car project.
We will miss his humor, funny antics and zest for life.
Per Barry's wishes, there will be no formal service. A private memorial celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made in Barry's name to a charity of your choice.
