Beatrice Mae Upson

Beatrice Mae Upson (Morton), 92 of Suffield, joined her husband in glory on October 23, 2017. She was a 1942 graduate of Kent State High School and an active member of Brimfield Faith United Methodist Church. She was also a member of Kelso Historical Society and Portage County and Suffield Garden Clubs, serving on the Election Board of Portage County.

In her spare time, Beatrice was a devoted mother and homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Dwight Upson; and parents, Guy W. and Evelyn I. Morton. Beatrice leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Charlotte M. Thissen, Donald G. (Karen) Upson and Nancy L. (John) Krontz; 6 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends on Saturday October 28, 2017 from 9-11am with the funeral service at 11am at Brimfield Faith United Methodist Church 1235 Tallmadge Rd. Brimfield, OH 44240. Interment Restland Cemetery. Donations can be made to the church, Suffield Fire Dept or UH Hospice.
