Pastor Bernadine M. (Belles) Warner, 80, of Akron, went home to be with the Lord on July 29, 2010. Bernadine was born in Akron on April 3, 1930. She served the Lord joyfully and faithfully for over 40 years as the pastor of Rock of Ages Community Church in Cuyahoga Falls. Bernadine had a sweet spirit and was generous and devoted to her family and friends. She spent her life giving unselfishly to others. She was the solid foundation for her family and will be deeply missed. She was preceded in death by her eleven siblings and all her brothers and sisters in Christ from Rock of Ages. She is survived by her children, Jim (Sharon) Belles, Judy Belles, and Becky Hudgins; grandchildren, John Belles and Jeff (Amy) Belles, Dawn, Amanda, Corey, and Cody Hudgins, Matt Damsa and Lou (Robin) Damsa; great-grandchildren, Mason and Carson Belles, Garrett and Landon Hudgins, Mattie, Tyler, Madison, and Makenzie Damsa. Special thanks to grandson John Belles for years of watching over and helping his Grandma. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m., Pastor Emlous Lattea officiating.
