Bernard W. Christie "Bernie", 87, was reunited with his wife, Frances, on October 9, 2006. Bernie served in the U.S. Army Airforce and retired from BF Goodrich after over 30 years of service. He lived at Stow-Glen retirement village for the last five years. Bernie was preceded in death by his wife, Frances. He will be greatly missed by his daughter, Beverly (Donald) Linton; sons, Allan Christie and Dan (Linda) Christie; grandchildren, Denise Huffman, Richard (Sherry) Linton, Mishelle Christie, and Jennifer Christie; great-grandchildren, Logan and Jarred Huffman, and Hannah, Bo and Alex Linton. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., with visitation for one hour prior. Interment at Restland Cemetery.
