Bernice "Louise" Kimberlin (nee Church)



Bernice "Louise" Kimberlin, born December 7, 1930, went home to be with her Lord on August 25, 2005, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by family and friends leaving with dignity and love, and was an inspiration until the end. She was an active member of Victory Baptist Temple, Brimfield, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Nellie Church, and her sister Ann. She is survived by her devoted husband Melvin; son Carl (Sue), of Columbus; son, Wayne "Wally" (Terry) of Akron; daughter, Connie, of Akron; son, Melvin (Darlene), of Collinsville, Ill; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren; brother Gene (Cathy); sister Mildred "Mid"; brother Glen (Olli); sister Dorothy (Virgil); brother David (Nancy); sister Betty (Mark); brother Raymond; special friends Lee and Connie Massie of Akron. Calling hours will be Monday, August 29, 4-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Funeral service Tuesday, 11 a.m. at Victory Baptist Temple, 4167 State Rt. 43 (330-673-6079), Brimfield, OH. Interment at Restland Cemetery in Brimfield. In lieu of flowers, at the family's request, memorials may be made to Victory Baptist Temple.
