Bernice H. Skinner, 74, of Akron, passed away August 28, 2007. She will always be remembered for her devotion to her family and friends. Bernice was considered a mother and grandmother to many outside of her own family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nina Martin and son-in-law, Jim Bondurant. She will be deeply missed by her husband, Tom; son, Tom (Vickie); daughters, Cathy Bondurant and Pat (Tony) Krysiak; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held Friday, August 31 at 7 p.m. with visitation from 5-7 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Interment will take place Tuesday, September 4 at 11 a.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
