Bertha C. Bergdorf, 93, of Akron, passed away on February 3, 2021. She was born on June 30, 1927 in Denholmn, Pennsylvania to the late Charles and Helen Henry. When her health was good, Bertha enjoyed bowling, mall walking, and volunteering at the voting booths. She was devoted to her family and spent many years participating in the PTA and babysitting her beloved grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Bertha was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; and daughters, Joyce Bergdorf and Linda Stover. She will be dearly missed by her son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Linda Bergdorf; sister, Lillie Herr; grandchildren, Christopher (Tracy) Bergdorf, Melissa (Andy) Anderson, David and Michael Bergdorf; Jerry (Beth), Michael, and Donald Stover; many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Per Bertha's wishes, no services will be held. She will be privately laid to rest at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
