Bertha Lee Walker

Bertha Lee Walker, 82, received her Ancestral status November 15, 2023 while being embraced by her beloved family. Bertha was born in Pinellas Co. in Clearwater, Florida to John and Alberta Rosher. She resided in the Akron, Ohio area the majority of her adult life. Bertha retired from Camelot Music/FYE, where she worked in data entry. She enjoyed dancing, music, bowling, cooking, sewing and above all spending time with her beloved family and friends.

Bertha will be received by cherished ancestors that include: parents John Leon and Alberta Rosher and grandparents Edna (Thomas) Crockam and Effie (Charlie) Rosher, brothers John Leon Rosher Jr. and Stanley Allen Rosher and eldest daughter Chailendra D. Walker. She has entrusted her forever love George Walker to continue watch over her children Jeffery Charles (Tameka) Walker, Raquel (Miller) Byrd, special daughters Reeka Gould and Kimberly Brown. Grandchildren, Quinterrius, Tennesha, Jeffery Jr., Kimberly, Raymond, Lewis, Miller II, Shanay, Raylyn, Lydia, Micheal, Christopher, Shaia, Kasey and Miller III. (29) Great Grandchildren. Siblings Johnnnie Mae Stephenson, Jerlene Rosher, Christine Hall, Sylena Chester, Ricky Rosher, Agnes D. (Geoffery) Coppin, Beverly Rosher, Allison Rosher, Corey Rosher. (Beloved aunt and uncle) Dorthy Anderson, John Crockam. As well as an outstanding and much-loved extened family filled with aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Lifetime friends Joyce Walker (cousin), LueBertha Taylor, Annette McDade, Joycelyn Fisk, Curtis-nephew (Lawanda).

Family and friends are invited to celebrate a life filled with love, dancing and feeding souls on Wednesday, November 29, 2023. Visitation and life presentation from 10 to 11 a.m with a memorial and repass to follow from 11am to 3pm at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 1180 Slosson St., Akron, OH 44320.
