Bettie B. Bridgman (Nee Splitt) "Nanny"

ELLET: Bettie B. Bridgman, age 84, went home to be with her Lord on May 17, 2007 after several bouts with cancer, diabetes, and a stroke. She was born in Germany on April 1, 1923 and was a lifetime Akron resident. Bettie was a loving Wife, Mom, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother. She was a member of The Chapel in Akron since 1967 and was an avid prayer warrior. She was also an excellent seamstress, with never a stitch out of place. Bettie was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and husband, Glen. She is survived by beloved daughter, Bonnie Jean (Bill) Ralston of AZ; beloved son, Ronald Glen (Jean) of Kent, OH; two granddaughters, Melissa (Randy) Watts and Melinda (Mike) Milush; five great-grandchildren, Jacob, Savannah, Miranda, Joshua, and Luke; step-grandson, Carl (Laura) Ralston; step-granddaughter, Melinda; step-great-granddaughter, Ashley' and her very good friend, Tootie. The family would like to thank the caregivers and neighbors who were so kind and loving to our Mom for so many years-Laura, Bert, Rosemary, Darlene, Lori, Melinda, Anna, and the staff at Stow Glen. In lieu of flowers, friends may make a donation to their favorite charity. Services will be at the convenience of the family.
