Betty A. Bowen, born March 9, 1938, passed away January 28, 2013 at Summa Western Reserve Hospital. Betty loved her family and friends but in the past few years, her health kept her at home a lot.
She was preceded in death by her children, Dot Stansell and Randy Thompson. She leaves behind her husband of 29 years, Bob and lifelong friend, Jack; daughter Linda (Gordon) Lydick; sons, Michael Thompson, Carl (Becky) Thompson, Eric (Sandra) Thompson; sisters, Eileen (Merlin) Bertshi, June Cain; stepsons, Ray Bowen, Michael (Tracy) Bowen, Joe (Linda) Bowen; brother-in-law, Jimmy (Diane) Bowen; sixteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many close friends including Margie Jones and Bob and Diane Shackleford. Betty will surely be missed by all who knew her.
Services will be private.
