Betty Ann "Troyer" Clark
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother, Betty Ann Clark. She passed away suddenly July 22, 2008 at Akron General Medical Center. She has found "her Karen". Betty was born in Wooster, Ohio on February 6, 1938. She was a graduate of Waynedale High School Class of 1956. Betty was an accomplished RN after graduating from Akron General Medical Center School of Nursing in 1984. Betty's two major loves in life were her family and nursing. A life long resident of Akron, Betty was a dear and loving person who enjoyed being around her family. She loved picnics at the park and enjoyed sitting on her patio just talking. Betty was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Karen Y. Conner; mother, Gladys Baumgartel; and sister, Arlene Wilson. Betty is survived by her children and their spouses: Lori Smith, Cindy and Jeff Parr, Jackie and Terry Conley, Richard and Susan Clark, Richard Conner, Shelly and Tony Belsito, David and Crystal Clark, and Carol Clark, all from the area as well as 21 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Betty is also survived by her brother, Carl Troyer of Madison, Indiana, sister Sherilyn and brother-in-law, William Marshall of Cincinnati, Ohio, and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call on Friday from 4-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment at Apple Creek Cemetery.
