Betty Cook, 83, of Akron, passed away October 11, 2008. Betty was born May 5, 1925 in Livingston, Tennessee. She enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with family and friends. Betty will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 66 years, Luther; her children, Larry (MaryAnn), Terry (Lorie), Gary (Marcia), and Joyce Massey; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandsons. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-6 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Private burial will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
