Betty E. Elliott

Betty E. Elliott, 83, passed away in the loving care of her family on March 10, 2024. Born in Bristol, PA to Emil and Anna Minnichbach, she resided in the Akron, OH area most of her life. Betty enjoyed gardening, cleaning, thrifting, taking care of her grandchildren, tasty treats and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John O. Elliott; son-in-law, Mike Singleton; siblings, Bobby, Leo, Emil, Adamae, Josephine. Betty will be sadly missed by her children, Sue (John) Ringer, Bonnie Cyfers, Dianne Hess, John "David" (Kim) Elliott; grandchildren, Amber, Ashley, Amy, Jennifer, Adam, Donnaven, Ryan, Chanda, Nate, Brandon, Austin, Kayla, Kathleen, Alex, Casey; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; siblings, Paul, Eddie, Walter, Billy, Jean; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to visit Monday, March 18, 2024 from 4 to 5 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron, Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Betty's name to the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank.
