Betty Jo Gartrell

Betty Jo Gartrell, 86, passed away May 31, 2021. Born in Wilding, WV to Donald and Lula (Finch) Shockey, she resided in Tallmadge, OH most of her adult life. Betty was a Christian who loved working as an insurance agent for many years and she greatly enjoyed life to the fullest.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Gartrell. She will be sadly missed by her children, Roger Gartrell, Joyce Kane; granddaughter, Tracie (Alex) Smith; many nieces, nephews and friends.
The service will take place Monday, June 7, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Northlawn Memorial Gardens, 4724 State Rd., Peninsula, OH 44264.
