Betty L. Hoselton

Betty L. Hoselton, 83, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2017 at home surrounded by family after a long illness. Betty was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother to her family.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Ethel and Hoyt Boggess; husband, Richard O. Hoselton; daughter, Judy Seabolt; brother, Cecil Boggess; and sisters, Thelma Kathleen Boggess and Linda Louise Suck; sons-in-law, Jesse Seabolt and Clifford Bullock. She is survived by daughters, Mary Jane Bullock and Beverly Jo (Thomas) Watson; son, Rich Hoselton; brother, Eugene Boggess; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and many friends and neighbors. All that knew her were drawn to her thick southern accent and infectious laugh.
She was a charmer and vicious card cheater, who had an opinion about world affairs as well as the smallest family matter.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Hillside Cemetery in Randolph.
