Betty Jo "B.J." Kitz, age 67, of Tallmadge, Ohio passed away March 5, 2020 at her home.

B.J. was born March 31, 1952, in Canton, Ohio, the daughter of Donald and Barbara {Brown} Lab. She married Steven Kitz on April 4, 1981.

B.J. attended Ohio Northern University, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy in 1975. She began her career as a pharmacist at Robinson Memorial and also spent time at Timken Mercy, Fallsview Psychiatric, Saint Thomas, and Western Reserve hospitals.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Steven; sisters Kathy (Merrill) Mossbarger and Linda (Mark) Benson; nieces and nephews Tom (Julie) Mossbarger, David Mossbarger, Amy (Justin, Lucy and Josie) Price, and Meagan (Chris) Morabito.

B.J. found some special friends Carol P., Carole T., Connie L., Connie M., June and Suzanne late in her life and enjoyed associating with them and is thankful for their support through her illness.

A special thank you to BJ's masso-therapist, Marianne, who always went the extra mile to provide her relief and act as a sounding board for her questions and complaints.

B.J. loved helping people, and gave freely of her pharmaceutical knowledge. She was always helping people with her time and money. She spent many hours with shut ins from her church and bringing hope with cards in the mail to those that needed uplifting.

B.J. did not want any services or viewings and we are respecting her wishes.

Please send any gifts to her favourite charities, Salvation Army and Habitat for Humanity.
