Betty Riddell, 80, of Akron, passed away October 24, 2004. Betty loved to play bingo and was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was loved by friends and family and will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Riddell; sons, Glen Shatner and Jeffrey Riddell; daughter, Judy Weinsheimer; mother, Julia Wenner; son-in-law, Charles Ferner. She is survived by her children, Linda Ferner, Joseph (Vicki) Brown, and Stephanie (John) Ebel; grandchildren, Lisa (Mark) Sadusky, Michael Ruester, Elizabeth Weinsheimer, Shelley Weinsheimer, Adam Ebel, Jessica Ebel, Joseph Brown, Pamela Brown, Stevie Brown, Jamie Ritchey, Douglas Riddell, Jeremy Riddell, Greg Riddell, Jocelyn Riddell, Charles (Kay) Ferner, Kimberly (JR) Gawley, and Stacey Ferner; numerous great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. Per Betty's request, there will be no services.
