Betty V. Payk, 77, of Akron, passed away on August 31, 2013. She was born in Akron on February 3, 1936. Betty lived all of her life in Akron. She was married to the love of her life, Frank and that union lasted 57 years until Frank passed away November 16, 2012. She was a faithful member of Crossroads Bible Fellowship.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Paul W. and Jessie Smith, Sr.; brother, Paul W. Smith, Jr. She is survived by her son, John; cousin, Joan; and best friend, Connie Fiocca.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, September 6 at Crossroads Bible Fellowship, 737 George Washington Blvd., Akron.
