Betty Jane Warner, 95, of Mogadore, passed away at her home with her family by her side on March 23, 2024. She was born on April 3, 1928 to the late Edward and Pearl {Fazenbaker} Gross.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband Glenn in November of 2009; siblings Edward Gross, Johanna Shaw, Patricia Hippli and Mary Hippli.
Betty is survived by her loving children Glenn (Lisa) Warner, Donna (Dan) Casto, Diana Campbell; grandchildren Troy Melvin, Dan Melvin, Monica Peeples, Mindy Roper, Kelly (Ben) Lail, Brandy (Jon) Franks and Jenna (Michael) Tolva; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother Wayne (Gloria) Gross; sister Marlene Fleming.
Betty enjoyed sewing, baking, gardening and country music. What truly stole her heart, though, were her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Betty was a member of the Ohio Country Western Music Association, and attended Faith Bible Fellowship Church.
All are welcome to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305 on Monday, April 1st from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral service begins at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Greenlawn Memorial Park, where Betty will be laid to rest with her husband Glenn.
