Pastor Beulah May Selman, age 89 of Akron, Ohio, passed over on April 11, 2023.
She was born on April 22, 1933 in Birch River, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Benjamin and Gertrude (nee Barnett) Cottrill.
Pastor Beulah operated Calvary Gospel Temple in Springfield for over 35 years.
She loved to preach, save souls and read the Bible. In her spare time, she loved flower gardening. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her girls.
Survivors include her three daughters, Nilene Imke, Marlene Ward and Nancy Fabian; her 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
Also surviving are her siblings, Melvin Cottrill, Franklin Cottrill, Carol Kilarsky and Jeanette (Glenn) Sheetz.
Other than her parents, Beulah was preceded in death by her husband, James Selman on November 14, 2013, they were united in marriage on August 5, 1972; and her siblings, Virgil, Willard and Jerry Cottrill, Norma Jean Cottrell, Jessie Tillman and Molly Cottrill.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, April 22, 2023, her birthday, at 10:30 AM.
She will be buried at Lakewood Cemetery, Akron, Ohio.
