Beverly Boyd

Beverly Ann Boyd, 57, of Akron, died on May 9, 2005 at Akron City Hospital. She was born February 9, 1948 in Akron. Beverly was quick-witted and big-hearted. In her eyes, the sun rose and set on her grandkids who called her "Grandma Regular." She was a member of Goodyear Heights Baptist Church. Beverly was preceded in death by her father, Joseph H. Lanni. She is survived by her daughter, Heather (Jon) Feagain of Akron; mother, Margaret R. Lanni of Akron; grandchildren, Jacob, Hannah, Isabelle, Michael and Eva; sister, Paula McGovern of Uniontown, Joanne Dumire and Marie Lanni both of Akron; brothers, David (Sharon) Lanni, Dennis (Linda) Lanni and Gene (Barb) Lanni all of Akron; many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 - 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. where funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. John Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
