Beverly J. Fiehn

Beverly Fiehn age 85, passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on December 20, 2022. Beverly grew up in Canton, Ohio. She graduated from Timken High School and later from the Aultman School of Nursing. Soon after graduating from nursing school, she married the love of her life, Nick, and they spent the next 62 years together. Beverly's career began at Akron Children's Hospital where, she stayed for almost 40 years, initially as a surgical nurse and eventually as the Head Nurse of Surgery. Nursing was not just a life-long career, it was who she was. Even after retirement, she continued to love and care for people the remainder of her life.
Beverly enjoyed traveling, cruising, boating & waterskiing (even up to age 75), golfing, dancing, casinos, playing cards, and most of all spending time with her loving family. She had an infectious laugh and always had a smile on her face.
She was preceded in death by her husband Nick; parents Vera and Charles Segesman; and her brother Richard Segesman. Beverly is survived by her son Robert (Justine) Fiehn; daughter Debra (Bryan) Griffin; and her cherished granddaughters Megan and Amanda Griffin.
A memorial mass for family and friends will be held at the Our Lady of Victory Church in Tallmadge, on Friday, December 30 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Our Lady of Victory Church or a charity of your choice in honor of Beverly.
