Billy Petty

Billy R. Petty, 67, went home to be with the Lord on July 29, 2005. Billy was an avid outdoorsman; he enjoyed fishing, camping, and hiking. Preceded in death by his father Glenn. Survivors include his mother Clodeen (Charles) Tennant of Akron; sister Patsy (Gene) Colegrove of Cuyahoga Falls; brothers Glenn (Connie) of Massillon, Kenneth (Judy) of Canton, and Larry (Bonita) of Akron; special friend Jan Michaels; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Monday, 11 a.m. at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
