Bobbi Jo Walker (nee Hollis), 36, of Arlington, Virginia, formerly of Springfield Township, passed away suddenly on November 22, 2007 at her residence. She was born August 30, 1971 and was a graduate of Springfield High School. Bobbi Jo was an avid youth softball player in the area. She loved her cats. Bobbi Jo will be remembered as a loving wife, daughter, sister and aunt. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bernice & Charles Manges. She is survived by her husband, Chuck Walker and step-children, Monica and Eric Walker all of Virginia; parents, James & Joan Soles; sisters, Anna Copeland (Rick), Lisa Perolis (Brad) and Connie Bergdorf (Scot), nieces and nephews, Amanda, Jackie, Garrett, Timothy, Eric, Justin, Jason and Travis; many aunts and uncle. Funeral services will be conducted Friday November 30 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron beginning at 1 p.m. with Pastor Matt Stull officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11 a.m. until the service begins. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
