Bobby Q. Morehead, 68, of Brimfield, lost a courageous battle with cancer on November 20, 2007. He was born July 17, 1939 in Spencer, West Virginia. He was retired from Don Wartko Construction. He loved his grandchildren, gardening, and playing cards. He is survived by his wife, Kay; sons, Gilbert of Mogadore and Jeffery of Syracuse, New York; brothers, Frank of Randolph and Raymond of Tallmadge; sisters, Emogene and Francis of Spencer, West Virginia, and Eloise of Cottageville, West Virginia; grandchildren, Robbie, Melynda, Leha, Michael, Becky, and Andrew; three great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; special brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Betty; and many great friends and neighbors, especially Carl and Sharon Ebie. Bobby was preceded in death by parents, Robert and Velva; brothers, Bill, Deat, and John; and sister, Justine. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Monday at 4:00 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., with Pastor Bob Fleming officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care Center, 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Akron, OH 44333.
