Bobby Glendon Woodard, age 77, of North Canton, Ohio, died on January 16, 2019 at his home.
He was born on April 7, 1941 in Carthage, TN, the son of the late Henry and Nellie (nee Overstreet) Woodard.
Bobby was a welder until he retired at the age of 62. He enjoyed music, TV, the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Indians and Browns. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, and his dogs, Dugan and Bear.
Survivors include his children, Paul (April) Woodard, Shelly (Jack) Kline, and Teresa (Ron) Mizner; his grandchildren, Haley, Brittany, Lindsey, Alana, Ricky, Savannah, Kilee, and Matt.
Other than his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his siblings, JC, John, Kenneth Woodard, Louise Woodroof, and Frances Hershberger.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 21, 2019 at 12:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, where Pastor Bob Burgess will celebrate Bobby's life.
Family and friends may visit from 10:00 AM until the time of the service on Monday.
