Bonnie "Gunga Bees" Bole
Bonnie "Gunga Bees" Bole, 95, of Akron, passed away September 5, 2008. Bonnie was born October 10, 1912 in Rockwood, TN to the late Eck and Ada Trusley. She was a longtime member of the Green Valley United Methodist Church where she belonged to the Joy Circle. She volunteered at Open M for many years. Bonnie always looked her best and was known as quite the fashionista. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, theater, and fine dining. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Hazel; and daughter, Barbara. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Orval; stepchildren, Glen (Sally) Bole, Dorothy (Jim) Orr, and Jim (Mary) Bole; grandchildren, Cynthia (David) Sells, Don (Donna) Huth, and Bonnie (Robert) Bernard; brother, Hiram (Marty) Trusley; many other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and great-great-great-grandchildren; brother, Hiram (Marty) Trusley; and James Zuravel. Family and friends may call on Monday from 5-7 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at Green Valley United Methodist Church, 620 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd., with Rev. Jeff Matthews officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park.
