Bonnie Alvina (Hines) Keller
Bonnie Keller, 88, went home to be held in the loving arms of her Heavenly Father where she will be free from pain and suffering on April 6, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. Bonnie will be reunited with all her loved ones who have gone before her. Those of us left here on earth will miss her each moment of the day, the memories and her legacy will live in our hearts forever. Bonnie was born February 28, 1921 to George and Mary (Hall) Hines. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Willy and Donny; sisters, Violet, Georgia, Marie, Katie, and Mary Alice; granddaughter, Christina Keller; brother-in-law, Bob Keller; and son-in-law, Joe Shullo. She leaves behind to cherish her memories her loving husband who was by her side for 65 years, Eugene W. "Bill" Keller, Sr.; daughter, Rosemary Shullo; son, Eugene W. (Kathy) Keller, Jr.; adopted daughter, Diane (Donnie) Hanson; brothers, Eddy (Pat) Hines and Bud (Edie) Hines; brother-in-law, Jack (Pat) Keller; many nieces, nephews, friends, and dogs, Shadow and Suzie. She also leaves grandchildren, Laura (Carl) Ralston, Emilie (Bill) Lowden, Eugene W. Keller III, Melanie (Ben) Fouse, Angie (Jeff) Dodge, and Bobby (Carrie) Smith; great-grandchildren, Ashley (Gabriel) Cochrane, Billy, Alexus, and Matthew Lowden, Alyssa and Gabriel Keller, Brittan, Mackenzie, Paige, Hope, and Parker Fouse, Kailyn and Kody Dodge, and Allison Smith; and great-great-grandchild yet to be born, Baby Cochrane. Bonnie blessed so many people with her kindness, genuine heart of giving homemade crafts, noodles, pies, cinnamon wheels, spaghetti sauce, and her amazing flower gardens. She taught her grandchildren to blow bubbles and whistle, and told them about Jesus, took bike rides to the grocery store to buy candy and many bus rides downtown to meet grandpa after work. Bonnie loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and was always singing Amazing Grace. She held many positions throughout her life at the Nazarene Church. We would like to thank family members, church family, friends, and neighbors, who have helped Bonnie over the many years. In particular her loving husband and daughter who cared for her during the last 5 bed-ridden years. We would also like to thank Dr. Mark Smith and staff and Asera Care Hospice staff who helped her as she prepared to meet her Savior Jesus Christ. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
