Bonnie Jean Leidig

Bonnie Jean Leidig (Cunningham) passed away at home on June 12, 2021. She was born in Akron, Ohio on June 13, 1931 and graduated from Garfield High School.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband Martin (Dick) Leidig, mother Freida Lewis, brother Sonny Lewis, and grandson Ryan Moore. In her younger years she was an avid bowler, loved to play cards, and was a Cleveland Indians/Browns fan. She is survived by her daughters Terry Leidig and Vicky (Denny) Moore, sisters Barbara McCord and Anita Collver, grandchildren Chris Leidig, Shannon Sales, Jason Moore and great granddaughters Brianna and Britny Sales.

Visitation at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. from 12 to 1pm, with funeral service to follow at 1pm on Friday June 18, 2021. She asked in lieu of flowers, donations to be made to Ryan S. Moore scholarship fund at Northwest High School at 8580 Erie Ave N, Canal Fulton 44614, Attn: Dan Staats. Interment will take place at Hillside Memorial Park in Akron.
