Bonnie M. Schaffer, 63, passed away on May 10, 2016. She was born in Akron, OH to the late Robert and Elizabeth Schutte. Bonnie was a caring person who loved her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She loved birds, being outdoors and making others happy. She was married to Donald Schaffer for 16 years. Her last living days she spent with her daughter Jessica Schaffer and her two grandchildren, Jaylynn and Jordynn. She is also survived by her daughter, Lisa Thompson; son, Donald Schaffer; grandchildren, Donald, Tiffany, Holly, Drew, Jaylynn and Jordynn; brothers, Ronald and Jeff; and sisters, Kathy and Diane.
Family will receive friends on Monday May 16, 2016 from 6-8pm and funeral service will be held on Tuesday May 17 at 1pm at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305. Interment Chestnut Hill Memorial Park.
