Bonnie M. Seenes

Bonnie Mae Seenes, age 88, of Akron, went home to be with the Lord on July 22, 2024. She was born in Akron, Ohio on December 12, 1935 to the late Lawrence and Dorothy (Andrews) Burgy. She was a homemaker who put her family first, always having a listening ear with a loving heart. She enjoyed spending time with family, cross word puzzles and game shows. She had a strong faith in the Lord.

Preceded in death by her husband Richard; children Rick and Jackie Seenes; and brother Larry Burgy. She is survived by her children Terry (Clarence) Rubino, Steve Emery, Mark (Aline) Emery, Robert Emery, Bonnie (Darryl) Dukate, Rose Seenes; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Friday July 26th from 10 AM-1 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home and funeral services will begin promptly at 1 PM. Final resting place is Hillside Memorial Park.
