Bradley A. King, age 59, of Coventry Township, passed away on Sunday January 30, 2022 due to a long courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Davenport, Iowa on September 29, 1962 to the late Dorothea and Thomas King.
Bradley graduated from East High School in 1981. He served in the US Army as a heavy equipment mechanic. Bradley last worked for the City of Akron as a mechanic.
Bradley enjoyed traveling, racing, collecting Richard Petty memorabilia, camping, and karaoke. Bradley always had a joke to tell to whomever would listen. He loved his Dodge Diesel. He was a great friend to all who met him.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Brian King; and brother-in-law, Bob McDonald.
Bradley is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Judi; he leaves behind sisters, Barbara and Belinda and "adopted" sister, Donna; mother-in-law, Cecile McDonald; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill (Becky), Deanna, Clarence, Cecil (Becky) McDonald, Betty (Kevin) Caler, and Cathy Moore; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place at Newcomer 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, on Monday February 7, 2022 from 6pm until 8pm. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday at 11am, officiated by Chaplain Robin Imbrigiotta, with an hour of visitation prior. Interment to follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
