Bradley Alan Shoemaker

July 19, 1961 — December 18, 2020

On December 17, 2020 our beloved Bradley Alan Shoemaker departed this earthly life and joined his dad in heaven.

Brad was born July 19, 1961 to Richard and Eunice (Hallauer) Shoemaker. He would tell you he had the best childhood, parents, siblings and WV family a man could hope for! His mom enjoyed sharing, on every birthday, that it took him more than 36 hours to make his entrance into this world, and for those of us close to Brad we acknowledge that story as a reflection of his sweet, laid back nature...never a need to hurry. We can smile and hold close the memory of him laughing and saying, "tomorrow"!

Brad was a kind hearted, generous guy who never met a stranger. He was old school, didn't depend on a cell phone, and wasn't too impressed with technology. He loved to talk cars, hunting, and especially motorcycles. He was a Harley guy who enjoyed riding his bikes and tinkering with them. He was also an avid outdoorsman and lover of nature. Additionally, Brad was mechanically inclined and enjoyed fixing things. He spent many joyful years building stock cars with his "Cormany Racing" buddies.

Brad maintained many close friendships throughout his life, especially those from the "neighborhood" in Kenmore where he was born and raised. Dave, Sean, Bud, Brian, Scott, Tim, Rich, and so many more! He loved you guys!
More than anything in this world, Brad loved his kids and was so proud of their accomplishments. He is survived by Brandon, Sam, Katie, Bradley, Lia, and Livi, and his cherished granddaughter, Adrienne. Along with Sandy, he raised solid, loving, and empathetic people who loved their dad beyond measure. They will keep his memory alive for the grandchildren he will not get to meet. Brad is also survived by his former wife and devoted friend of 36 years, Sandy, his mom, Eunice, sister Tonja Lee Leidig, brother Steve Shoemaker, niece Carol Shirley(Chad) and nephew, Beau Leidig. All whom he loved dearly.

"Though goodbye means the birth of a teardrop
Hello means the birth of a smile
And the smile will erase the tear blighting trace
When we meet in the after awhile."
Love and miss you til then.

Due to Covid, services will be private. In the summer we will have a celebration of life for friends and family.
